Alysia Makuski is the premier all around trainer at Heartland Stables of Custer. Alysia has over 20 years of experience training horses, giving riding lessons, and putting on clinics. Alysia is a certified Richard Shrake trainer and riding instructor, she has also worked with some of the best horseman in Wisconsin including Gigi Bailey and Troy Moon. Alysia most recently placed in the top 10 at the Extreme Mustang Makeover, along with earning second place in her riding skills event. Alysia's disciplines include: western pleasure, English pleasure (hunt seat), barrel racing, reining, and team roping. Whether you are just looking to fine tune your prized horse or get your new horse started on the right path Alysia can help. Alysia is available to give individual or group lessons all year round. She has extensive experience helping new riders learn the basics and experienced riders gain extra knowledge. Sarah Davis is a dressage instructor and trainer at Heartland Stables. Sarah is a USDF Bronze Medalist and has trained numerous horses from starting to 4th level. Sarah also teaches riders of all ages and levels and enjoys bringing out the best in a horse and rider team.
