Week 12 - Horsemanship IV Advanced Level
(ages 10-14) - August 20-24

Interested in horses and horseback riding? These day camps are for you! Throughout the week, we will touch on many different areas: horse safety, grooming and tack, saddling, ground work (lunging and leading), mounting, dismounting, feeding and care, horse breeds, identification and daily horseback riding lessons. Horsemanship activities will be mixed with various camp activities. Camp is held at Heartland Stables in Custer, WI. Transportation is provided. Advanced Level pre-requirement is participation in a previous Stevens Point Area YMCA Horsemanship Camp or proven horsemanship experience.

Limited to 12 participants.

Camp Hours are 9:00am to 4:30pm - Monday - Friday

Free extended care is available at the YMCA from 6:30am to 9:00am and 4:30pm to 6:00pm
