Kyle and Abe on Heartland Trails Photo by Debbie B.
Kyle and Abe enjoy an afternoon trail ride through the woods behind Heartland Stables. Ample opportunity for
pleasure riding at Heartland is provided for by fields,
woods, and quiet country roads.
For the slightly more adventurous trail rider, Heart-
Stables is just a few miles from the scenic Tomorrow
River State Trail. This trail is thoroughly enjoyable to
ride, and provides some of the most scenic riding in the
county!  The horse trails at Hartman's Creek State Park
in Waupaca are also very nice to ride, and are just a
half-hour drive from Heartland Stables.
Boarding at Heartland Stables opens the door to a world of oppor-
tunity for both the novice and experienced rider alike. The indoor
arenas allow riding year round. Opportunities abound for both expo-
sure to and participation in everything from dressage to roping, trail
riding to barrel racing, and showing to Parelli Natural Horsemanship.
Heartland offers many clinics throughout the year. Visiting clinicians
have included Monty Roberts, Richard Shrake, Curt Pate, Pat Parelli
Melle Van Bruggen and Craig Cammeron.
Heartland clinics are usually
free of charge to boarders, who also frequently get the chance to
actively participate in them!
