Bill
and Betty Foss have been involved in the horse industry for the past 26 years. Throughout those years, they slowly began to
create Heartland Stables. "We made the decision, along with our daughter
Alysia, six years ago, to expand our facility to include boarding, training and hosting a variety of clinics and shows."
says Bill, "That was the birth of Heartland Stables - the Hoofbeat of Wisconsin."
Bill
is the salesman of Heartland Stables - literally! He has a fulltime job at
Greg
Ellious Auto Center in Wisconsin Rapids selling new Ford and GMC trucks. Twenty-eight years of sales experience has given Bill the upper hand
in as to how to take care of the customer's
needs. This has proved to be very useful in establishing Heartland Stables.
Betty
is the P.R. lady. Patience, and listening to the needs of her boarders and their horses is her specialty. Growing up |
|
on
an animal farm, from an early early age on, has given her a
unique sense of understanding with each and every horse at Heartland. The welfare
of the boarders and their horses is her main concern.
Bill and
Betty's daughter Alysia plays a major role in the success of Heartland Stables. At age 26, she is
an accom- plished equestrienne. She rides English, western, does roping and barrel races. Currently
she trains horses and gives instruc- tion in riding and barrel racing.
Alysia is also the "doctor in the house". Having studied and
worked under the local large animal vets, her knowledge comes in handy around the
barn.
Bill, Betty
and Alysia make the kind of team needed to make an equine center successful; a place you can feel safe and secure. Stop by
and meet them; you'll leave being their friend! |
