Practice Shows are Back!

Heartland Stables announces the new Heartland Stables Beat the Blues Winter Show Series. Remember our practice shows last winter and over the summer? Well, we're doing it again! The best part is you get to practice showing with a real judge, but you don't need to worry about a clean, spruced-up horse or fancy show clothing. The Heartland Cafe will be open during these shows, so you'll have a place to warm up and enjoy Bill Foss' great food.
Our next Beat the Blues show date is March 6th. The show will begin at 12:00 noon. You can choose to enter individual classes for $5 apiece, or you can pay a $25 flat fee for each horse/rider combo and enter as many classes as you wish! What a bargain!
There are two divisions, one for Juniors (14 and under) and Seniors (15 and over). Check out the Show Bill for more information. We hope to see you there!

If you are longing for a safe, spacious place with indoor riding arenas to board your horses, consider Heartland Stables. Heartland Stables Welcomes Trainer Sarah Davis
Heartland Stables is pleased to welcome Sarah Davis as our new trainer and riding instructor. A USDF Bronze Medalist, Sarah has trained many dressage horses from start to 3rd level. She has taught riders from "very inexperienced" to second level competition. Sarah has studied under several trainers and ngs a wealth of knowledge to Heartland. We're pleased to have Sarah join us!

We had such a successful, positive show season in 2009! Participants clearly enjoyed the Heartland Stables show environment. Share our success in 2010 by reserving your horse show dates with us. We still have a few dates available for horse shows next summer. We are committed to making your shows as memorable and enjoyable as they can be.
Multiple indoor/outdoor riding arenas, camping facilities, enormous stall facilities, a PA system, electronic timers, and a great cafeteria make Heartland the perfect setting for your shows. A Note from Bill Foss...
I've swapped my blue jeans and casual shirts for the dress pants, shirts, and neck-choking ties. It's back to work full time selling new and used cars and trucks at Len Dudas Motors in Stevens Point. It shouldn’t be a hard transition, as I have been selling for over 33 years. (Oops, hope I didn’t give my age away!) My specialty is trucks, the pulling kind. Hint-hint!
